Nora Percival
Nora at twelve years old.

Nora Lourie Percival met her first love while she was an undergraduate at Barnard college. She has had a long career as an editor and is also the author of “Weather of the Heart: A Child\'s Journey out of Revolutionary Russia,” a memoir of her childhood in Russia during the early years of the Communist Revolution. Herman Gund was a journalism student at Columbia University when he met Nora. A talented poet, he endured many struggles before he became a newspaperman.
